Our Story

Back in 2020, Opportunity Distributing (ODI) was founded on a simple but powerful idea: quality technology shouldn't end up in a landfill — it should end up in your hands.

We started by responsibly processing used IT equipment from businesses and institutions across the region, refurbishing it to a high standard, and remarketing it at prices that make premium tech accessible to everyone in Barbados and beyond.

Four-plus years later, we're still at it — and we're proud of every device we've kept out of the waste stream. 🌍

How We Grade Our Devices

Every device that comes through our doors gets a thorough inspection and is assigned a cosmetic condition grade so you know exactly what you're getting — no surprises.

Grade	What to Expect
Grade A – Like New	Minimal to no visible wear. Looks and performs like it just left the box.
Grade B – Good	Light cosmetic marks (minor scratches or scuffs) that don't affect performance.
Grade C – Fair	Noticeable cosmetic wear but fully functional. Great value for budget-conscious buyers.

How We Test Every Device

Cosmetics are just the start. Before any device hits our shelves, our technicians run it through a full functional checklist:

✅ Display test — dead pixels, brightness, and colour accuracy
✅ Keyboard & trackpad — every key, every click
✅ Ports & connectivity — USB, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
✅ Camera & audio — webcam, microphone, and speakers
✅ Clean OS install — wiped and restored to factory settings
